pictures for inspiration - from ESPN's The Body Issue

ESPN Magazine's Bodies We Want in 2012 issue is out, and it's worth a look. I actually look forward to this issue each year - they get professional athletes from all different sports, men and women, to pose nude, using body positions and/or gear from their sport to hide any naughty bits.

The results are an awesome tribute to how great the human body can look.

From the espn.com website:

It's okay to stare. That's what The Body Issue is here for. Each year, we stop to admire the vast potential of the human form. To unapologetically stand in awe of the athletes who've pushed their physiques to profound frontiers. To imagine how it would feel to inhabit those bodies, to leap and punch and throw like a god. To ... well, gawk. So go ahead; join us.

Maybe you workout for your health - blood pressure, cholesterol, hypertension, diabetes (or potential diabetes), or for some other doctor's orders.

Maybe you workout because your clothes are too small, again, and you refuse to buy a bigger size.

Maybe you workout because you can't keep up with your kids, and that's just gotta change.

But I know some of you out there work out so you can look great naked. If you're in this group, click here & look through the whole slide show. Go ahead - I won't see you staring in awe, because I'll be too busy looking at the pictures!
